    NJ, birthdays, and prayers

Hmm, I hate to say it, but Xanga is sure dying down. But that's quite okay--I'm still able to keep in touch with everyone in the other ways, too. So it's a win-win situation /

Went back to NJ this past weekend with Kelly and Aaron. We finished up the porch and just hung around all weekend. It was pretty nice, but..seeing as how I just left, I didn't particularly want to stay too incredibly long because, well..yeah. Heh. I really miss blueberry water ice (italian ice, whatever..) from Primo. Amazing.

So, today is my baptismal birthday of 3 years. It's pretty unbelievable. In some aspects, I've come a really long way as far as becoming and being a better brother in the Truth. It just doesn't seem like 3 years have already flown by! Pretty awesome.

And as I'm sure many (if not all) of you already know, our brother Grant Anderson was involved in a terrible car accident sometime last week. If you have a Facebook account, you can keep track of his medical status almost day-to-day. The group is called "Grant needs your prayers", and he really does. He is doing quite well last I heard, so please, if you can, take a few small minutes out of your day and pray for him, his family, and while you're at it, those members in the ecclesia or people anywhere else you feel who need prayers.

Anyway, I better get into town (so I get cell phone service) and start looking for jobs again.

    Take care!

    All moved in..

Well, it's about time, huh? Who knew my move date would come so fast!

So, here I am. I'm no longer a resident of Westmont, NJ, but of Princeton, MA. Pretty crazy.

I'm practically living on the side of a mountain, where the temperature is on average 4-6 degrees cooler than your normal suburbs. I'm about 15 minutes away from civilization, which is definitely a different thing for me. I'm so used to walking outside of my house, down the street, and BAM. People. Now it's a bit more than a walk.. .

I left my house around 7:15 on Friday morning, and stopped for a few hours at Kelsey's place. I got there around 11:30ish (not bad time!). It was good to spend a little time with each other before she left for Maine later that night. So, I left her place around 2 and waited for Aaron to get home from work at the apartment. He got home and we visited Kel at her work, then left to unpack all my stuff at Aunt Beth's. I have a pretty sweet room . Definitely happy about that.

Saturday was spent trying to figure out when I start at the Lowe's up here, and fixing some more problems in my car . Apparently I'm hearing back from them sometime today, so we'll see how that goes. Sunday was meeting, lunch and dinner with Kel and Aaron, then some quality time with John, Betsy, Roger and little Robert at the apartment. That was fun.

Now, I'm sitting on my butt waiting for stinkin' Lowe's to call.

Anyway, I should probably get some more stuff done, so I'll go do that.

    Have a great day all!

  • The End

But not really, more like a new beginning.

In less than 6 hours, I will be awake, showered, packed, and on my way to Massachusettes. I'm struggling with many different emotions right now. It's tough! But after I'm all settled in, everything should be alright.

Thanks to everyone who made me feel like I could do it--but not just by myself--through God. Thanks for the party (parties), the thoughts, cards, phone calls, texts, messages on Facebook..everything. Without your encouragement (and the good grace of God) I would not have been able to do any of this.

    So, thank you.

I apologize if this sounds a little solemn, though. I am very excited, just a little nervous and such.

    Time for bed.

    God bless!

    And the countdown continues

That's right, almost 1 week until I no longer live in NJ.

    Weird.

I'm really excited to finally move, though. I've been waiting for this for..oh, about 2 years. Needless to say, a bunch of feelings are all overwhelming me at once, like "Why haven't Kelly or Aaron updated their xanga?" and "Jay and Rebecca--what about theirs?". Stupid family/extended family..just kidding. I love you guys.

But in all seriousness, I need a car. Quite frankly, I do a bit of driving. I'm going to need something a bit more dependable than a '95 Granny Mobile with 177,000 miles. Yeah..

I'm really anxious to just get up and move. Praying helps.

God certainly has a plan and purpose, I'm sure...it's just tough sometimes.

Anywho, I better do some wash. I'm going to need garments for work tomorrow. It would be pretty uncomfortable not wearing anything in front of peers..ahem. Sorry for the visual.

    God be with you.

PS. This is pretty much my favorite photo..
